The
Power Fastening Safety Alliance

The International Staple, Nail and Tool Association (ISANTA) has formed a
network with organizations representing organized labor, contractors, regulatory
groups, and safety professionals, to promote the safe use of power fastening
tools.
This was born out of research indicating that tools users' behavior and
attitude toward safe work practices can be improved. Safe work practices
means more than just following the rules - it's part of quality workmanship and
good business judgment.
Safety awareness leads to the personal and business success that is the
reward of true craftsmanship. Through our combined knowledge and broad
experience, we want to actively associate safety with all of its tangible
benefits, and help tools users put it in perspective and work safely.
ISANTA's allies have helped develop and distribute a variety of helpful
safety training materials.
Alliance members are:
Construction Safety Council
National Roofing Contractors Association
National Safety Council
National Institute For Occupational Safety and Health
OSHA Directorate of Construction
United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America
